Our Ministry
The Ministry of the Resurrectionist Community is guided by the Church as it perceives the needs in today’s world. Firstly, our vow of Obedience calls us to listen intently to the call of the Spirit and to respond generously. So our ministry is always ready to respond to the needs of society and the world in the present day. Our mission statement focuses on this.
Secondly we are guided by the call of our founders. We continue to study our history, in order to understand what motivated the men who chose to begin the Congregation of the Resurrection. What is it that they felt we needed to do in order to build God’s reign on earth? You can read a summary of our early history here.
Thirdly, we have discerned after studying our history and by listening to the Spirit among us the following Charism of the Congregation. Read our Charism Statement here.
Finally we believe that Mary is the model for all that we are called to be as religious. She was (is) the model Christian and hence the model for Christian Religious Life and for our ministry as a Congregation.
